Hi! I'm Olga Kovaleva, an intermedia artist and illustrator based in Berlin. Originally from the Tver region of Russia, I moved here in 2023.
My professional journey began in engineering: ten years in the field taught me to value structure and precision. Later, my training in Intermodal Expressive Arts Facilitation gave me the freedom to move through different modalities, helping me find the most honest form for every story. Around the same time, I joined an experimental theater group to focus on performance and improvisation.
Today, these experiences shape my creative process. I take an idea and guide it through different modalities – movement, visual art, or the written word – allowing its meaning to deepen before it takes its final form. Whether it becomes an illustration, an artwork, or a performance, my work explores personal stories, embodied experiences, and human connection.
