At the core of the performance were 29 portraits of incarcerated individuals, created by Andrey Mitenev on large sheets of paper. As each portrait came to life, the person depicted shared their thoughts on what freedom meant to them.
During the performance, through physical improvisation, dialogue with the audience, music, and color, we explored the theme of freedom — with Andrey becoming both the artist and a living storyteller.
